The interiors of our ship were more luxurious than expected – marble bathrooms , soft beds , and staff who remembered our coffee orders . Each morning brought a new temple , each evening a new view from our floating hotel . One day we’re riding camels near the pyramids , the next , watching the sun set behind Kom Ombo with falafel in one hand and mint tea in the other . Seeing Abu Simbel early in the morning with zero crowds made me feel like Indiana Jones . The Nile cruise was smoother than expected , and the service onboard was next - level attentive . We were greeted with cool towels and hibiscus punch after long walks . My husband tried belly dancing after dinner . I’ll never let him forget that 😂

What stood out most was how smoothly everything ran . From airport pickup to hotel check - in , we barely had to lift a finger . I was floored by the Grand Egyptian Museum – mummies , gold masks , even King Tut’s toothbrush ( almost ) . The cruise gave us a break from the Cairo hustle . I read on the deck , had mint tea under the stars , and didn’t think about emails once . It was just peaceful , rich in culture , and way fancier than I expected .

It’s rare to feel this pampered while sweating in the desert . But somehow this trip pulled it off . Our guide made us feel like we were on a Netflix documentary – telling stories of gods , kings , and hidden treasures .
