Премиальная поездка на гору Синай и в монастырь Святой Екатерины

Chasing the sunrise from Moses' Mountain felt like something out of a dream. We hiked in the cool night air, and the stars were crystal clear — no city lights, just desert silence and our flashlights. When the sun finally crept up, it painted the sky in oranges and purples I can’t even describe. 🧡 After the descent, St. Catherine’s Monastery gave us such a rich dose of history — ancient icons, timeless walls, and that quiet, peaceful feeling you get when you’re walking through a place older than almost anything you’ve seen. It was a mix of spiritual and wild adventure in one long, incredible night.

Mount Sinai wasn’t just a hike — it was an event. I was absolutely not ready for how cold it would be up there at 3 AM, but the adrenaline kept us warm. We had a guide who told stories during our climb, which made the journey feel shorter. When that sun rose above the mountain line, everyone just went silent. That kind of silence that only awe can cause. The visit to St. Catherine’s after was a full contrast — calm, contemplative, and deeply historic. Both experiences fit together like pieces of a spiritual puzzle.

We started at night and the stars were dazzling ✨ No light pollution for miles. You could almost hear the desert breathe. Climbing Mount Sinai was tough but thrilling — switchbacks, rocks, camels passing now and then. Then came the sunrise… wow. Truly worth every step. St. Catherine’s Monastery was like stepping through a portal. The silence inside those old stone walls hit me hard. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place so still.

Hiking Mount Sinai in the dark felt like a scene from a movie. With our flashlights bobbing in a line of sleepy travelers, we trekked upward while the stars kept watch. Once the sun rose, the rocks turned gold and the silence broke into quiet gasps and photos being snapped. Afterwards, entering St. Catherine’s Monastery was like diving into the oldest chapter of a history book. So much peace and so many stories in every stone.

I had no idea the desert could feel that alive. Between the stars and the cool breeze, that nighttime trek was something else. It felt like we were pilgrims chasing the sun. The sunrise on Mount Sinai? Pure fire in the sky. 🌄 I won’t forget that view if I live to be 100. Then stepping into St. Catherine’s was like suddenly finding quiet after shouting. It's humbling. You just feel... small in the best way.

Started the night with strong coffee and ended it with one of the most incredible sunrises I’ve ever seen. The climb up Mount Sinai was both exhausting and energizing. I was nervous at first — I’m not exactly a mountain goat — but the group energy and the guide’s calm pace helped a lot. The colors that spread over the mountains at dawn? Out of this world. St. Catherine’s Monastery was icing on the cake. Quiet, historic, and beautifully preserved.

Hiking by moonlight was surreal. The desert felt endless and timeless. When we reached the summit, there was already a little crowd wrapped in blankets, waiting. Then, just like that, the sky changed. First soft pinks, then orange flames. Cameras came out, but I mostly just stared. St. Catherine’s later felt like a sacred reward — walls whispering stories, courtyards full of ancient peace. It was a long journey, but never boring.

There’s nothing quite like hiking under the stars with a group of strangers who all feel like friends by the end of it. That climb up Moses’ Mountain challenged me, sure, but it also gave me something I didn’t know I needed — a sense of connection. Connection to the land, the sky, and even the past. 🌌 The monastery? A total shift in tone — from wild to reverent. Loved every minute.

I didn’t expect to laugh so much on a mountain hike at 2 AM, but our group was full of jokes and sleepy jokes. 😂 By the time we reached the summit, it was quiet — like even the laughter needed a rest. That sunrise was unreal. Fire spilling across ancient rock. And then St. Catherine’s gave us this pause — this reminder that Egypt isn’t just about pharaohs and pyramids. It’s sacred ground too.

The drive into the Sinai was smooth, comfy seats and all — always a plus when the journey’s long. When we got to the base, the air was crisp and cool, and the stars above us were sparkling hard. Climbing wasn’t easy, but the sunrise erased every sore muscle. The way the light moved over the mountains gave the feeling of watching Earth wake up. After that, visiting St. Catherine’s felt almost poetic. A space where old stories live on quietly.
